New for 2014, when Citizen released another new collection of GPS watches that sync with global positioning satellites to indicate the correct time anywhere you are in the world. For sure, it is still a revolutionary piece with a good look that combines an excellent mix of functionality and design with the Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F100.
 
Today we are offering an extraordinary timepiece, “a new generation of speed.” It is a pre-owned Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F100 wristwatch, reference CC2006-53E (CC2006-61E in the US) and dated from 2014. It boasts the world’s fastest signal with 3 second synch reception speed, a satellite timekeeping system for 40 time zones (27 cities), perpetual calendar, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and day/date feature combined with Eco-Drive technology.
 
It is a quartz watch powered by the Citizen-produced caliber F100 Eco-Drive movement. Featuring the Eco-Drive technology – powered by light, any light, never needs a battery. It includes a perpetual calendar, day of the week indicator, power reserve indicator, date, light level indicator (showing how much power it is generating), and world time for 47 cities, in addition to the GPS receiver functions.
 
The Citizen Satellite Wave F100 is among the cleanest GPS watches in the market with a very legibility dial. The black and gray dial features a very unique design, each of the hands has its own motor – the hands can move independently and thus more quickly.
 
One of the most impressive things about this watch is the case design and wearing comfort, surprisingly light. Cased in a 46mm Super Titanium (Duratect DLC) case and bracelet. The case has a beautiful geometric and futuristic design combined with the unique skeletonized pushers on the side of the case. Anti-eflective Saspphire crystal – impact and shatter resistant, anti-reflective coating deflects light. Also, the thinnest light-powered satellite watch measuring 12.4mm.
 
Very well engineered Super Titanium bracelet produced by Citizen as well, fold over clasp with push button. The bracelet will fit a wrist up to 7 ¼” (18.4cm).
 
Also, the Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave case is water resistant to 100 meters (10 BAR) – Swimming, showering & snorkeling.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
